GRYD Prevention

Our mission is to foster healthy, peaceful, and thriving communities by providing gang prevention and diversion services through GRYD’s Prevention Program. The program aims to decrease negative behaviors such as anti-social tendencies, impulsive risk-taking, peer pressure, delinquency, and substance use, and to promote positive youth development and family support.

About GRYD Prevention

Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) Prevention is designed to reduce risk factors and their associated behaviors by addressing the young person as an individual at the family and peer level. Our mission is to improve the overall health and well-being of families and communities through engagement and by preventing violence and promoting decisions and behaviors among young people and emerging adults.

OUR SERVICES

Program Requirements

Must be 10-15 years old
Must live in, attend school, or spend time in the West San Fernando Valley
Commit to 6 months of programming
