Our History
Alliance for Community Empowerment (ACE) was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2013 in response to community need. Canoga Park was identified as an under-served community with high rates of poverty, high school dropouts, and a significant level of unemployment amongst transitional aged individuals (ages 14-25).
ACE’s founder and President, Mrs. Michelle F. Miranda, used both her life experience of service and community relationships to fill this gap. Our organization currently provides support and services to individuals and communities across the West San Fernando Valley and remains one of the few community non-profits that specialize in serving this particular demographic segment.
